Accessibility statement
Relevant aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the website and the dashboard. This statement explains what we do, what is still being worked on, how to use the product with a keyboard, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Last updated:
Our commitment#
Relevant is used by engineers, analysts and reviewers who spend hours in tables, charts and keyboards. We want every one of them, including people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control or switch devices, to be able to do their work.
- Target standard
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
- Related standards
- EN 301 549 and the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices, where they apply to the components we use.
- In scope
- The relevant.com.tr website, the sign-in and account pages, and the Relevant dashboard and its exports.

Conformance status#
We believe the website and dashboard are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: most content meets the criteria, and the exceptions we know about are listed under known limitations.
This statement is based on our own evaluation, which combines automated checks, keyboard-only walkthroughs and screen reader testing.
What we do#
These are the practices we build into the product and check as it changes.
- Structure and landmarksEvery page has one h1, ordered headings, and header, nav, main and footer landmarks. A skip link is the first focusable element.
- Keyboard operationMenus, tabs, dialogs, drawers, tables and the command palette are built on primitives that follow WAI-ARIA authoring practices, with logical focus order and focus returned on close.
- Visible focusEvery interactive element shows a visible focus ring, and focus is never removed without a replacement indicator.
- Color and contrastText meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio and interface components meet 3:1. Status is never conveyed by color alone: every badge carries a text label.
- Charts and dataEach chart exposes a text summary to assistive technology. In most views the underlying values are also available in a table or a CSV export.
- Motion and themesAnimation is decorative and switches off when your system requests reduced motion. Light and dark themes are both supported.
- FormsEvery control has a programmatically associated label. Errors appear inline, next to the field, as text rather than color alone.
- LanguageEvery page is written in English and marked lang="en", so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
Keyboard and shortcuts#
Everything you can do with a pointer can be done with a keyboard. The keys below work across the site; shortcuts that belong to one part of the product are marked.

Single-key shortcuts (the review queue keys, [ and ] on failure pages, and / on Resources) do not fire while you are typing in a text field or editing an answer. To switch all of them off, open the Shortcuts popover in the review queue and turn off Single-key shortcuts. Your choice is remembered on this device, and every action stays available as a button or link.
Display preferences#
You can switch between a light and a dark theme at any time, from here or from the footer of any page. The site also follows the reduced-motion setting of your operating system.
Known limitations#
We are working on the following. If one of them blocks you, tell us and we will help directly.
- Charts
- Limitation
- Charts give a text summary but individual points are best explored with a pointer.
- Workaround
- Use the table beside the chart where there is one, or export the data as CSV.
- Wide tables
- Limitation
- Tables with many columns scroll sideways on small screens, which can be awkward with a screen magnifier.
- Workaround
- Open a row to read its details in a drawer, or export the table as CSV.
- Review queue shortcuts
- Limitation
- Single-letter shortcuts can be turned off from the Keyboard shortcuts popover in the review queue, but they cannot be remapped.
- Workaround
- Use the buttons on each item; they work with Tab and Enter.
- Printed reports
- Limitation
- PDFs saved from the browser’s print dialog may not include a tagged reading order.
- Workaround
- Request an accessible copy at the address below, or use the CSV export.
Compatibility and technology#
Relevant is designed for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile, and to work with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack. It relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. Layouts reflow from phone to wide desktop widths without horizontal scrolling of the page, and remain usable when you zoom in.
Every page is marked with its language, lang="en", so assistive technology uses the right pronunciation.
How we assess#
- Automated checks for common issues while we build, including linting for accessibility problems in markup.
- Keyboard-only walkthroughs of sign-in, search, dataset import, failure triage and review before changes ship.
- Screen reader checks of key flows, and review of focus order, names, roles and states.
- Contrast checks for text and interface components in both light and dark themes, and checks at high zoom.
We review this statement whenever the product changes in ways that affect it, and at least once a year.
